XYLENE

Thins oil-based paints, lacquers, and varnishes when slower evaporation rate is needed

Xylene can be used in place of toluene to thin specified oil-based paints, lacquers and varnishes when a slower rate of evaporation is desired. Used to thin certain synthetic enamels, varnishes and adhesives, it also removes grease and oil. Do not use as a general purpose cleaner. Xylene may soften or damage plastics, synthetics, and many other finishes. Sold in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
